The design, fabrication, and installation of this 16-ton Double Girder Overhead Crane system demonstrate the strategic synergy between FINE JSC’s specialized industrial fabrication—including piping systems (oil, water, air) and heavy steel structures—and the world-class lifting technology from the ABUS Group (Germany).

This project was successfully executed for the Bakheng Water Production Facilities Project (Stage 3) under the rigorous standards of Vinci Construction Grands Projets.

1. TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS & SCOPE

  • Equipment Type: Double Girder Overhead Crane.
  • Safe Working Load (SWL): 16 Tons.
  • Span: 14.55m (Customizable per project requirements).

  • Design Standards: FEM/DIN.

2. SUPPLY CAPABILITY & COMPONENT STRUCTURE

FINE JSC integrated high-performance ABUS (Germany) core systems:

  • Hoisting: Electric wire rope hoists with high durability and electronic overload protection.
  • Control: German-made panels, inverters, and festoon/busbar systems for absolute operational stability.

3. TURNKEY PROJECT MANAGEMENT

FINE JSC delivered a comprehensive "Turnkey" solution, ensuring accountability across the entire lifecycle:

Engineering & Structural Analysis

Advanced modeling for stress-strain, deflection, and Fatigue Analysis. This simulation optimizes the main girder's integrity, ensuring a long-term operational lifespan under real-world duty cycles.

Industrial Fabrication & Quality Control

  • Welding: Performed by DNV/AWS certified welders with 100% Non-Destructive Testing (NDT)—including Ultrasonic (UT) and Radiographic (RT)—on all critical joints.
  • Surface Protection: Abrasive blasting to Sa 2.5 followed by a high-performance 3-layer epoxy coating for maximum corrosion resistance.

Installation & Commissioning

Strategic logistics and precise onsite installation at the Bakheng site. Final commissioning was supervised by independent bodies.
